I was fortunate enough to get an invite to spend the week in the heart of downtown Phoenix. While I was there we stayed at the Hotel Palomar. Let me just say that I jumped on the chance. I have never stayed in downtown Phoenix before and this was an opportunity that I could not pass up.

The Hotel Palomar is such a warm and welcoming place. Everyone, from the doormen to the staff are very friendly and inviting. I have now had the pleasure of staying at two of the Hotel Palomar’s, the one in downtown San Diego and now the one in the heart of downtown Phoenix. It’s all about the location and both of these hotels are in the best spots, neither one of them disappoints. Also, the Lustre rooftop bar and pool area in the Phoenix location is to die for. They even offer bicycles for their guests to use.

Amazing dessert!

The surrounding downtown area is amazing. If you’re looking for nightlife this location has it all. One of the places we ate lunch at was called The Arrogant Butcher and it did not disappoint. The menu had quite the selection from salads to burgers and more. If you find yourself in downtown Phoenix this is a must eat place and it’s located right next door to the hotel. Don’t like burgers? There is a cool little sushi shop at the other end of the building.

How amazing is this view from the room!?

The best part of the location of this hotel is that it is practically right across the street, not even one block, from The Talking Stick Resort Arena. BTW, Ariana Grande will be playing there on May 14, 2019. Get your tix here.

If you’re ever in downtown Phoenix, the Hotel Palomar is worth checking out.

Have a fabulous week!
